Ladies Guild The Ladies Guild main function is to SUPPORT the men and the council. They do this primarily by providing help at events, cooking for events and providing monetary help. They also generally do help with setting up and beautifying the hall for events. The Ladies Guild of Council 6138 meets the fourth Wednesday night of the month at 7:00PM and they meet at the Council Hall. The current officers of the Ladies Guild are as follows: President Audrey Molitor 422-5450 Vice President Lorraine Malcolm 535-9465 Secretary Betty Wibbels 889-9985 Treasurer Kitty Richardson 882-5177 Our holiday nut sale is underway. We have various nut meats for baking and several nuts and fruits for snacking. Call any officer or talk to any guild member for ordering. A notice will also be in the church bulletin. Don't forget our annual charter bus trip to Chicago coming up on November 21. This is our third year for this trip and it's great fun. Weather you enjoy shopping, want to see a show, visit a museum, or just have a great meal, don't miss this chance to leave the driving to Free Enterprise. For more information, call Audrey @422-5450, Kitty @882-5177, or Phyllis @884-4796. Our next meeting will be Oct. 28, 7:00 p.m. at the council. We are still in need of new members, so please come down and join us. The Ladies Guild will again be serving lunch during the quarterly Model Train Shows held at the Council Hall, and we will also be volunteering at Bingo on Tuesday nights. We are always interested in new members joining the Guild and we can always use volunteers for our activities. God bless you all, and we hope to see you at one of our meetings or functions in 2009!
